What is the Church?

A building? A denomination? To answer this question we must go to God's Word.

"You are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light." (I Peter 2:9, CSB)

Scripture tells us that the church is a people called out by God from the nations of the earth, redeemed by the blood of Jesus to be separate, to be holy -  to be a light in this dark world.

Our Church Family
We are an independent church with a focus on biblical teaching, family discipleship, and evangelism. We seek to worship God in spirit and truth, according to His Holy Word, and not according to societal trends. Our members range from seniors to newborns, and are from all over the globe. We sing out of good old hymnals—we love gospel-rich music, both old and modern. We’re a family. We share meals, we share our burdens. Together we seek God's face in prayer. If you’re looking for a church where you can slip in and slip out, you’ll have to look somewhere else!

Our Purpose
Jesus said He would be returning, and we believe it will be soon! This fact encourages us to walk in purity and truth, and to work toward the advancement and fulfillment of His kingdom. We are following Christ's command, "Occupy till I come." (Luke 19:13)

Knowing Jesus

Jesus Christ is the source and object of all we are and do. Grace Bible exists to know Him and to make Him known. We remember His redemptive work on the cross, His glorious resurrection, and promise to one day return for us.

Searching the Scriptures

The Bible is our compass. Week by week, Grace Bible seeks God through prayerful study of His written Word—verse by verse, chapter by chapter. Our hope is to be transformed, from glory to glory, into the likeness of Christ.

Growing in Grace

We pray we will grow in our love for Jesus, each other, and the world. We come together to challenge, encourage, and equip. Then we go out to fulfill our mission to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
